11 Tech For All: Unlocking Creativity with Inclusive Innovation

Eli Crossley made headlines this year as the youngest ever performer at Glastonbury music festival. The 16-year-old Londoner has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a progressive condition that causes all the muscles in his body to gradually weaken. With no cure, playing guitar and singing onstage is increasingly difficult as time passes, but thanks to a new SMART Suit, Eli is able to keep his artistry alive. In this session, BBC Technology Journalist and Filmmaker Nick Kwek is joined on stage by Eli, his mum Emily, and the project leader for the SMART suit.
